Jean Haefele is a mixed media/watercolor artist living in Chaska, Minnesota.  Her work has been displayed at shows and galleries throughout the country.  Many of her images have been licensed over the years  for use on greeting cards, clothing, promo material and other products.

She was named "Artisan 2011" in the mixed media/collage and assemblage category by Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine.

Jean is a scavenger and is able to incorporate most anything she finds from found objects and rejects to natural materials into her work.  All pieces visually encourage the viewer in for a closer look.

The work is refreshingly varied. Jean is as comfortable working abstractly as representationally.  Her watercolors are generally more realistic .
